Aiven MySQL Integration with Readyset

We're excited to onboard you onto Readyset. Before we can get started, you’ll need to create a MySQL service in Aiven.

Create MySQL service in Aiven

You can use the “Create Service” button in the Aiven console and follow the instructions to create a MySQL database suitable for your needs.

Once the service is created, you’ll be redirected to the connection information page.

Your database is ready to use, just like that. Now, let’s go ahead and create the readyset cache.

Create Readyset cache

Login to your readyset cloud console from : https://readyset.cloud/ (opens in a new tab)

Select your project and create a new cluster.

Use the username and password provided in the Aiven console in the credentials section.

Use host, port and database information to fill the Database Details section. Make sure to select MySQL as the database type and Public for the connection type.

Click on the Create cluster button to start creating the cache. Once the cluster is created, you’ll see the connection information.

You are now ready to use Readyset with Aiven.

VPC peering is currently not available for Aiven MySQL with Readyset Cloud.
